Mowa zależna – prośby, rozkazy, propozycje

 

Często relacjonujemy czyjeś wypowiedzi używając czasownika, który określa ich charakter. Do takich zdań należą polecenia, prośby, rozkazy, propozycje, obietnice i tym podobne.

Takie zdania w mowie zależnej mają jednak inną budowę niż typowe zdania. Nie ma tu następstwa czasów, zamiast tego używamy konstrukcji z bezokolicznikiem lub formą -ing.

 

 

KONSTRUKCJE Z BEZOKOLICZNIKIEM

 

Oto przykładowe czasowniki:

'Please help me,' the woman said.

The woman asked me to help her.

rozkaz, polecenie (zdanie w trybie rozkazującym)

tell, order

'Stop shouting,' my mum said.

My mum told me not to shout.

ostrzeżenie

warn

'Don't touch the oven,' she said

She warned me not to touch the oven.

rada

advise

'You should smoke less,' he said.

He advised me to smoke less.

przypomnienie

remind

'Don't forget to buy the tickets,' she said.

She reminded me to buy the tickets.

obietnica

promise

'I won't tell anyone,' she said.

She promised not to tell anyone.

groźba

threaten

'I won't let you go if you behave like this,' he said.

He threatened not to let me go if I behaved like that.

odmowa

refuse

'I won't accept your apology,' said Mrs Anders.

Mrs Anders refused to accept my apology.

propozycja

offer

'I'll take the kids to the zoo,' he said.

He offered to take the kids to the zoo.

 

 

KONSTRUKCJE Z FORMĄ -ING

'Let's eat out tonight,' she said.

She suggested eating out that night.

'I did it,' he said.

He admitted doing it.

przeprosiny

apologise for

'I'm sorry I forgot about your birthday,' she said.

She apologised for forgetting about my birthday.

zaprzeczenie

'I didn't take your keys,' she said.

She denied taking my keys.

oskarżenie

accuse sb of

'You left the door unlocked,' she said.

She accused me of leaving the door unlocked.

 

Niektóre z powyższych zdań można także wyrazić za pomocą „tradycyjnej” mowy zależnej (z następstwem czasów), np:

 

'You should smoke less,' he said.                He said (that) I should smoke less.

'I won't tell anyone,' she said.                      She said (that) she wouldn't tell anyone.

'I'll take the kids to the zoo,' he said.       He said (that) he would take the kids to the zoo.

'I did it,' he said.                                                   He said (that) he had done it.

'I didn't take your keys,' she said.               She said (that) she hadn't taken my keys.
